Music Industry Mental Health Primer
A Sector-Specific Mental Health & Psychological Safety Training for Canada’s Music Community
Program Overview
The Canadian music industry is vibrant, passionate, and innovative — but it’s also high-pressure, precarious, and emotionally demanding. From touring to studio life, from the festival circuit to the boardroom, music professionals face unique mental health challenges that standard workplace training often overlooks.
The Certified Music Industry Mental Health Primer (MIMHP) bridges that gap. Developed by Revelios and designed specifically for artists, managers, crew, labels, unions, and funders, this workshop blends the core principles of the internationally recognized Mental Health concepts, tools, and tactics, with tailored, music-sector-specific strategies for fostering psychological safety, early intervention, and a culture of care.
Led by facilitators with depth and breadth of experience and expertise in mental health in the music industry, this program is grounded in evidence and lived experience from across Canada’s music ecosystem.
