Mental Health First Aid Integration Coaching
Make MHFA an integral part of your workplace’s culture and daily operations. Your MHFA certification is your passport to real-world impact, and this practice session is the bridge to getting there.
Increase Retention and Application of MHFA at Work
Certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training helps increase your knowledge of mental health conditions, and gives you greater confidence and hands-on experience to assist someone with a mental health condition. It trains you on how to respond to someone experiencing these conditions using set action plans and crisis intervention strategies, decrease stigmatized attitudes, and improve the mental health of participants. Although meaningful and relatable case studies are part of the certification course, they do not represent YOUR unique daily work experience.
Our 2-hour live virtual session is designed to integrate MHFA principles into your everyday workplace routines and leadership practices. Here’s how we do it:
Your Scenarios, Your Growth: Harness the power of your own case scenarios to make MHFA concepts directly applicable to your work environment. Our experienced MHFA facilitators will provide you with invaluable coaching and guidance as you navigate these real-world scenarios.
Perfect Timing: We recommend enrolling in this session 2-4 weeks after your certification course. By this point, you’re a certified MHFAer, armed with the knowledge, skills, and real-world perspective to take your practice to the next level.
Practice Makes Perfect: As a certified MHFAer, this session allows you to test your new language and skills with the cases you encounter in your workplace. Practical application is the key to true integration.
Cultural Transformation: By bringing MHFA into the heart of your workplace, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming your organization’s culture and work processes. It’s about more than just knowledge; it’s about making MHFA a way of life in your workplace.
A prerequisite for booking this session is completion of the certified Mental Health First Aid program.
